Wouldn’t it be great to earn extra cash online, such as blogging, selling ad space on a website, or promoting affiliate products. Unfortunately many of these strategies have frustrating limitations, firstly trying to learn web design, pasting ad code into websites, finding advertisers and negotiating the best affiliate offers can be difficult, with no guarantee of any revenue generation or website visitors.
DevHub has succeeded at making that possible with DevHub’s drag and drop technology. The DevHub Free Website Builder platform allows users to create optimized websites with drag and drop, revenue-generating modules and an array of simple website editing tools -all for free. This translates into providing users with the most effect use of ad placement and the ability to control key search words. This in turn helps to attract more people to a website that is geared toward particular niches, products or information. A Devhub website can be about any topic or product that interests a user.
Currently there are over 30,000 users who have created over 100,000 sites/ blogs. With a DevHub.com account users can also track the progress of thier sites’ and get reports to help them keep track of earnings, site visitors and more.
They say it’s the little things in life that count. Whether it is getting your morning latte, catching a movie or some other pick-me-up, it’s life’s little luxuries that add quality to our daily lives. But with uncertain financial times, people often wonder if they should give up these indulgences for the sake of frugality. Others are turning to the Internet as a way to keep these small comforts.
Utilizing the tools within DevHub.com to create a website that earns money can be as simple as one site about toys for a cat to making several sites about where to go to get the best coffee in every state. Just in time for the Holidays, we have finally launched DevHub’s fully Automated Payment System, which allows you to easily update your payment settings and Cash Out at any time! Be sure to follow the three quick/easy steps below in the next few days so we can get payments out in time for Holiday shopping!
Step 1.
Once logged into DevHub, click on ‘My Account’ in the menu bar in the top left hand corner of the page.
Step 2.
Once ‘My Account’ page loads, click on ‘Payment Settings’ on the left hand side of the page. On the form that loads, choose your payment preference (Check or PayPal), fill out the required fields, and click ‘Update Settings’ button. If you filled it out correctly, you should see a Payment Settings Updated message at the top of the form.
Step 3.
Last step! After updating Payment Settings, click on ‘Payment History’ on the left hand side of the page. Here you will find Earnings, Payment History, and Balance Owed. If you have already submitted your W-8/W-9 tax form and the minimum payment threshold is reached, the ‘Cash Out’ button will be lit up. Click on this button to initiate payment of the Balance Owed based on Payment Settings. You can accumulate your Balance over a few months or get paid out every month — as long as you hit the minimum threshold, all you have to do is hit the ‘Cash Out’ button!
Remember: We must have your W-8/W-9 tax form on file before the Cash Out button is lit up, so be sure to follow these instructions to submit your tax forms. You will see the screen below when you visit ‘Payment History’ if we have yet to recieve your W-8/W-9 tax form.
Cash Out requests will be paid out on time on the 15th of every month. However, since it is already the 15th of the month today (and we are only getting this information to you now), we will send out payments this month for Cash Out requests made up to December 22th 11:59 pm PST. Cash out requests made beyond this time will be sent out on January 15th — so be sure to update Payment Settings and get your W-8/W-9s in ASAP!
Thanks again for your patience as we built out the Automated Payment System over the past few months! We appreciate your continued support for DevHub and have a lot of exciting features in store for all DevHeads in 2010!!!
We’ll follow up with another end of year newsletter shortly…

DevHub Payments
DevHub.com is a publishing platform and monetization platform in one. We bring together all the major ways to make money on the Internet, and make it easy to build a site and/or blog so that you as a publisher can focus on content and create a destination that is valuable to the end-user. Publishers who have have this focus as they build sites add value to the Internet, and are rewarded by search engines as they realize true organic growth — a mark of value retention. This means no longer looking for quick fixes for an entire portfolio, but rather building sustainable media properties that can be leveraged within a network. Domain portfolio owners have the opportunity to focus on developing sites that matter and we hope to encourage this movement. We are dedicated to providing tools and a system for those that have expanded their vision and are willing to succeed in a rapidly evolving playing field. Thank you all for your support and enthusiasm thus far to get us to this point. More to come very soon!!!
—DevHub team
To accommodate the massive growth of our publisher network (from 375
publishers in February 2009 to over 25,000 publishers today), we have been
hard at work on finalizing our fully automated accounting and payment
system. We are happy to announce this system is in its final stages of
testing and should be launched by October 15th. Prior to this, the
payment process was done manually, and as the number of publishers on our
system grew beyond our means these past few months, it took a lot longer
to get payments processed and sent out to our publishers. Once launched,
you will also be able to see account balance and payment history in your
DevHub account.
To avail of the $5 CASHOUT offer found on the front of the site, you can
receive payment on your first $5 simply by emailing CASHOUT in the subject
line to payments@devhub.com. After this initial payment, as per our terms
[http://www.devhub.com/terms] you must submit a W-9 (US) or W-8
(International) and your account must reach a minimum balance of $100.00 by
the end of the month (carried over month to month if you do not reach this
threshold). Also please note that this cumulative monthly balance is paid
out Net 45, meaning a check is issued forty-five (45) after the end of that
month; this allows us to make sure the traffic and activity in your account
for that month is of quality and to fully collect payments from our
monetization partners.
As always, we thank you for your patience and support as we have been
working rapidly to build a better system for our growing and vibrant
publisher network. Keep tuned as more system upgrades and features
are coming!
Keep it creative,
- DevHub Team
